Exit polls show Lee Jae-myung will win the South Korean election by a landslide.
According to ChainCatcher news and Jin10 reports, on June 3rd at 20:00 local time, the voting for South Korea's 21st presidential election officially ended, and the exit polls were subsequently released. After the voting ended, the exit poll results announced by the three major mainstream television stations in South Korea - Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), and Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) - showed that the candidate of the largest opposition party, the Democratic Party, Lee Jae-myung, will win the election with an overwhelming advantage exceeding the margin of error. According to exit polls by the Korean Broadcasting System (MBC), the Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung received 51.7% of the votes, the People Power Party candidate Kim Moon-soo received 39.3% of the votes, and the Reform Party candidate Lee Jun-seok received 7.7% of the votes.
