Gate News bot reported that, according to Bloomberg, as more favorable regulatory policies attract more investors into the digital asset space, some top billionaire fund managers in Hong Kong will begin investing in Crypto Assets.
VMS Group is a multi-family office managing nearly $4 billion in assets. VMS Managing Partner Elton Cheung stated in an interview that the firm plans to allocate up to $10 million to the strategy operated by the decentralized finance hedge fund Re7 Capital. He also added that the allocation size has not yet been finalized.
Cheung stated that this decision is one of the measures VMS has taken recently to diversify its investments and expand into more liquid investment areas. Since its establishment twenty years ago, the company has primarily focused on private equity and other long-term strategies. He noted that while these investments have performed well, the liquidity of such assets has declined as more and more companies choose to remain private for the long term, making exits more difficult.
