Sina Financial News On April 15, OpenAI announced the establishment of the company's first office in Asia in Tokyo, Japan, expanding its business to Asia, and will release a GPT-4 custom model optimized for Japanese. Tadao Nagasaki, former president of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Japan, will lead OpenAI's Japan operations. He said the Tokyo office is OpenAI's third overseas branch after London and Dublin, and the number of employees will increase to 10 to 20 this year.
