【Voting machine in a Pennsylvania county in the United States malfunctioned】Several hours after the start of voting on the US election day, technical issues occurred in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, where electronic voting machines malfunctioned and could not scan the ballots. Cambria County, located near Pittsburgh, gave 68% of its votes to Trump and 31% to Biden in the 2020 election. In response, the Cambria County Board of Elections sought a court order to extend the voting time until 10 pm Eastern Time on Wednesday (11 am Beijing time). Officials assured the public that all voters would be taken care of and instructed them to submit paper ballots until the electronic scanner problem is resolved. In addition, according to CNN, counting machines in multiple precincts in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, experienced problems in the early hours of Tuesday, but people were still able to vote.
