Coin World News, according to the Financial Times, OpenAI is discussing plans to introduce ads to its artificial intelligence products as the ChatGPT developer seeks new sources of revenue. Sarah Friar, CFO of this $150 billion Market Cap AI startup, told the Financial Times that the company is considering an advertising model and added that they plan to "be cautious about when and where to implement advertising." The San Francisco-based company raised $6.6 billion in October and, according to several insiders and LinkedIn account analyses by the Financial Times, OpenAI is recruiting advertising talent from large technology companies such as Meta and Google. In a statement after the interview, Friar added: "Our current business is experiencing rapid growth and we see huge opportunities in our existing business models. Although we are open to exploring other sources of revenue in the future, we currently do not have plans to actively engage in advertising operations."
