From November 23rd to 27th, the 17th Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Industry Expo was successfully held in Hangzhou. During this period, the first set of Hanfu ready-to-wear designed and created entirely by AIGC in China was unveiled at the exhibition. The design of this hanfu is derived from the excellent work "Decoration of Xizi" in the 2023 "Mengxi Cup" Song Yun Cultural Innovation Competition, which was created by contestant Li Chao using unbounded AI. The work is inspired by four traditional Chinese color schemes – Juyi, Yang Fei, Qinglian and Cuiwei – and is created by Unbounded AI and Song Yun Hanfu models with Gongbi figures and watercolors such as Sketch and Watercolor. At the exhibition site, "Ju Yi", which was cut from AI design drawings and made into clothes, successfully captured the attention of many visitors. Creator Li Chao said: "In addition to day-to-day assisted design, AI has more wonderful uses in some areas. For example, in the traditional filming of some film and television dramas, the director wants to display some costume styles, scenes or props, basically looking for some online picture references to communicate with the costume teacher, which is time-consuming and laborious, and there will be many rework. But now, with the help of unbounded AI, you can intuitively generate what you want and give it to the departments that need to communicate, greatly saving communication costs. I hope that there will be more use in the industry in the future.
