VERTU launches the world's first Web3 phone METAVERTU, with a top configuration price of 300,000 yuan.

The luxury smartphone brand VERTU has attracted market attention once again. The company recently launched the world's first Web3 phone, METAVERTU, in London and has begun global sales.

This mobile phone continues VERTU's consistent high-end positioning, with the highest configuration version priced at up to 300,000 yuan. In response, many netizens jokingly said, "With this price, you could buy a Mercedes," and some commented, "Technology is based on money."

METAVERTU did not forget to mock a certain well-known phone brand as becoming the "villainous hegemon" at the time of its release, implying that it is becoming increasingly closed. This reminded some netizens of similar behavior by another phone manufacturer years ago.

In terms of appearance design, METAVERTU uses a ceramic and metal body, inlaid with sapphire glass. The company also launched a special version made of high-end materials such as Himalayan crocodile leather, 18K gold, and diamonds.

In terms of configuration, METAVERTU is equipped with a 6.67-inch 144Hz refresh rate screen and uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, basically keeping up with mainstream flagship smartphones. METAVERTU has launched six available versions, with a starting price of 25,800 RMB, and the high-end version reaching up to 300,800 RMB. The product will officially be available for sale on November 3.
