CertiK has become a key enterprise partner in Hong Kong

Recently, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Office for Key Enterprises held a "Key Enterprise Signing Ceremony". During this event, the technology company CertiK, which focuses on Web3 security, officially became a partner of key enterprises in Hong Kong. Dr. Li Kang, the company's Chief Technology Officer, represented CertiK at the signing ceremony, signing a cooperation agreement with the Hong Kong SAR Government alongside 17 other enterprises from the high-tech industry.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Financial Secretary, Paul Chan, and attracted more than 200 representatives from various sectors. A total of 18 enterprises joined the ranks of key enterprises, covering multiple fields such as advanced manufacturing, new energy technology, artificial intelligence and data science, financial technology, and life health technology. CertiK, as the only company focused on Web3 security, has become one of the important forces in promoting the construction of Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology hub, thanks to its rich experience and technical strength in the field of blockchain security.

Dr. Li Kang stated after the ceremony that Hong Kong has world-class financial and technological talent and maintains close ties with the international community. In recent years, the Hong Kong SAR government has actively promoted the development of Web3.0, introducing multiple virtual asset policy frameworks and implementing an authorization system for virtual asset service providers. At the same time, some institutions are also providing funding and resource support for startups, accelerating the growth of the Web3 ecosystem. CertiK's goal is to set industry standards for virtual asset compliance audits and contribute to the development of related industries, enhancing Hong Kong's global competitiveness.

The office of key enterprises stated that it will collaborate with other government departments to provide comprehensive services for key enterprises, including CertiK, to accelerate their business establishment in Hong Kong and promote the continuous development of the innovation and technology industry. In the future, CertiK plans to leverage Hong Kong's geographical advantages and policy support to strengthen cooperation with local research institutions and enterprises, contributing to the diversification of Hong Kong's economy.

CertiK was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in New York, USA. It is a technology company dedicated to supporting the long-term development strategy of Web3 enterprises and ecosystems through full-cycle products and services. In recent years, CertiK has rapidly expanded globally and has served over 4,900 enterprise clients, protecting digital assets worth over $530 billion.

CertiK has a long-standing partnership with Hong Kong. The company's co-founder Professor Gu Ronghui and Chief Technology Officer Dr. Li Kang are both members of the Hong Kong Web3 Development Task Force, deeply involved in the construction of the Hong Kong Web3 ecosystem. In addition, CertiK has collaborated with Hong Kong Cyberport to launch Web3 security training courses and proposed regulatory recommendations for stablecoins, which have been adopted by the Hong Kong authorities. Becoming a key enterprise partner in Hong Kong will further strengthen CertiK's strategic position in the Asia-Pacific region and support Hong Kong's innovative development in fintech and blockchain.
