The State Minister for Crypto Assets and Blockchain of Pakistan, Bilal Bin Saqib, stated that Pakistan's demographic structure is a major catalyst for the adoption of Bitcoin, enabling it to "leapfrog" developed countries. Currently, Pakistan has around 40 million crypto wallets, ranking among the top five globally in crypto adoption, primarily benefiting from its young and tech-savvy population. Pakistan plans to use 2,000 megawatts of surplus power for Bitcoin mining and AI.
