According to a trading platform manager, at least 913,111 ETH (approximately $3.43 billion) has been permanently lost due to user operational errors, accounting for about 0.76% of the total ETH supply. If we add the 5.3 million ETH destroyed under the EIP-1559 mechanism, the total destruction amount has exceeded 5%, equivalent to $23.4 billion. Major loss cases include the Web3 Foundation being locked out of 306,000 ETH due to a contract vulnerability.
