Protocol 23 Testnet

Saga, in collaboration with KEX, will host an AI Agent Buildathon and networking event on August 14 during EthGlobal NYC. Participants will use KEX tools to build their own AI agents and compete for prizes, with selected projects gaining the opportunity to be showcased at Gamescom. Attendance is limited, and registration is now open.

Hackathon

Stellar has announced key dates for Protocol 23. On August 14, the testnet will be reset, clearing all accounts, assets, and contracts. Developers are advised to back up and recreate essential data. Stable builds will also be available on that date. A vote on the mainnet upgrade is scheduled for September 3. All Stellar software, including Core, RPC, Horizon, and SDKs, must be upgraded after the reset, regardless of July updates. This reset lies outside the typical protocol upgrade process and is prompted by essential changes to Stellar Core.

Testnet Reset

Lido DAO will hold a community call on August 14 at 14:00 UTC. The agenda includes discussion of the protocol’s roadmap, strategic priorities, financial overview and initiatives aimed at enhancing the long-term alignment of the LDO token with protocol performance.

River Mart is a new task of the River protocol, where users can mint NFTs on designated chains and unlock mysterious NFTs, earning 24 million River Pts. The protocol supports cross-chain collateral asset minting of stablecoins, achieving over 400 million USD in TVL and 100 million in Circulating Supply, covering multiple chains and various use cases.

ChainCatcher news, River Mart serves as the final task for the River protocol to reach its next milestone, combining multi-chain NFT minting with points rewards. Users can deposit assets on the specified chain, mint NFTs, and unlock a mysterious NFT after accumulating seven, with a total reward of 24 million River Pts.
River has established the first on-chain abstract stablecoin system, allowing users to collateralize BTC, ETH, BNB, or LST on any chain and natively mint satUSD on another chain, without additional cross-chain or dominance; River has accumulated over $400 million in TVL within a month, with stablecoin circulation exceeding $100 million, and integrated over 20 use cases including Pendle and ListaDAO.
This event will be conducted in three phases, covering seven chains. By depositing any asset on any of the 7 chains, including BNB, Base, and Arbitrum, you can mint the corresponding NFT. Collecting all seven will unlock the Mystery NFT and allow you to share in the rewards. All NFTs are SBT and non-transferable. River is building a system that allows any asset to participate and flow freely across chains, and River Mart is the entry point for users to experience this system design for the first time.
