The Palestinian side claims that the Israeli military fired at a diplomatic convoy in Jenin, and the Israeli military has apologized.

Jin10 reported on May 21 that on May 21 local time, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated on its social platform that the ministry organized diplomatic missions from multiple countries to conduct a field visit in the northern city of Jenin in the West Bank. During this visit, the Israeli army fired heavily from the Jenin refugee camp towards the diplomatic mission, attempting to intimidate those present. The Palestinian side strongly condemned this behavior. The Israel Defense Forces subsequently issued a statement confirming that warning shots were indeed fired that day and expressed their apologies.
