Industry insiders say the price rise effect of DDR4 can last until the end of 2025.

Jin10 data, July 29: Major memory manufacturers have successively released plans to halt DDR4 DRAM production, and customers who cannot upgrade immediately have gradually turned to new DDR4 suppliers for verification. Memory module manufacturers indicate that the second quarter's end-user orders for DDR4 are active, and the sales momentum is still strong into the second half of the year, with strong spot prices pushing up, even exceeding DDR5 prices. It is expected that the price increase effect of DDR4 can last until the end of 2025, and the usage of DDR5 will grow quarter by quarter. Various parties estimate that starting from the first quarter of 2026, the price increase momentum of DDR4 will gradually slow down.
