A natural gas pipeline in Russia has stopped operating due to an explosion.

Jin10 data reported on August 2 that a natural gas pipeline in Volgograd Oblast, Russia, ceased operation due to an explosion on August 2, local time. The pipeline belongs to Gazprom and is responsible for transporting natural gas from Turkmenistan through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Russia. It is reported that after receiving the report of the pipeline explosion, emergency service departments in Russia rushed to the scene. Local residents stated that maintenance teams have also arrived for repairs. Ukrainian media reported that the pipeline provides energy support to several military-industrial facilities in Russia.
