Since the outbreak of the current round of Israel-Palestine conflict, half of the facilities of the Middle East Relief Agency in Gaza have been destroyed.

On July 8th, Gold 10 Data reported that on July 8th local time, Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), stated that since the outbreak of the recent round of Israeli-Palestinian conflict in October last year, half of the agency's facilities in the Gaza Strip, including houses, schools, hospitals, etc., have been destroyed. In these attacks, more than 500 people have died, including agency staff and displaced persons under the agency's care.
