The US Space Force stationed in Japan is officially established.

According to Kyodo News on December 5, the "U.S. Space Force stationed in Japan" was announced on the 4th. The establishment of the Space Force in Japan is aimed at strengthening its surveillance and response capabilities in space. According to the U.S. military stationed in Japan and the Japanese Ministry of Defense, the Space Force stationed in Japan is a directly subordinate organization of the U.S. Space Force's Indo-Pacific Command, and will use existing facilities without plans for new radar, antennas, aircraft deployment, etc.
