Iran holds air defense exercises near two nuclear facilities in the country

On January 12, local time, the Iranian army held air defense exercises in the vicinity of the country's Fordow nuclear facility and the Arak heavy water reactor. Warplanes and drones during the exercise attempted to launch night attacks on sensitive locations at the aforementioned facilities, and Iranian forces used radar, as well as anti-aircraft missile systems such as Khordad-15, to discover, identify, and intercept relevant targets. Since the 4th of this month, the Iranian armed forces announced that they will hold large-scale military exercises in many parts of Iran for two months, which are aimed at strengthening the combat capability of the troops and responding to any potential military threat.
