Golden Ten Data, February 26, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Paul Chan Mo-po, today (26th) delivered the government budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year in the conference hall of the Legislative Council Complex of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He said that Hong Kong's economy has recorded moderate growth for two consecutive years, and the HKSAR Government has vigorously promoted the development of innovation and technology (I&T) and sought to attract more enterprises, capital and investment institutions through diversified investment promotion activities. Recently, a number of economic links have continued to improve, and the government's efforts to fight for the economy, enterprises, and talents have achieved certain results. Mr Chan introduced that since its establishment, the Office for the Introduction of Strategic Enterprises has introduced 66 key enterprises to Hong Kong, of which 80% have or are planning to establish global or regional headquarters. As at the end of last year, more than 430,000 applications had been received and over 270,000 were approved, with a total of about 180,000 talents arriving in Hong Kong.
