The Trump administration is trying to freeze federal funds, and American judges have once again ordered a halt.

On March 7th, Jinshi Data reported that on March 6th local time, Judge John McConnell of the Federal District Court in Rhode Island extended the injunction against the Trump administration's attempt to freeze federal funds, stating that it "fundamentally undermines" American democracy. It is reported that McConnell issued an injunction on that day to suspend the Trump administration's practice of freezing federal spending during the litigation. McConnell had previously ordered a halt to the Trump administration's plan to freeze federal funds entirely.
