S&P: The liquidity ratios of major European banks are generally declining in Q4 2024.

According to Jin10 data on March 28, S&P Global Market Intelligence reported that in the last quarter of 2024, the liquidity ratio of most large European banks has decreased. S&P Global Market Intelligence stated that among the 30 largest banks in Europe, 20 banks saw a decline in their liquidity coverage ratio in the fourth quarter based on asset size. The agency noted that 9 banks reported an increase in their liquidity coverage ratio, while 1 bank's liquidity coverage ratio remained unchanged. The liquidity coverage ratio measures a bank's ability to handle cash outflows over a 30-day period.
