Sources say that the Israeli government has tentatively agreed to expand military operations in Gaza.

Jin10 reported on May 3 that sources said Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu chaired a government security consultation meeting on the evening of the 2nd local time, where an initial approval was granted to expand military actions against the Gaza Strip. It is expected that the IDF will call up tens of thousands of reservists as a result. However, the sources also indicated that Israel is expected to only expand its military actions in a limited manner, without the aim of occupying large areas of Gaza. The Israeli government is expected to hold a meeting on the 4th to give final approval to the relevant plans.
